Greentential provides complete third party independent inspection and documentation for certification of the Florida Green Building Coalition's green home certification.
In addition we offer consultation on the most cost effective ways to make your home healthier and more energy and water efficient. After a thorough inspection of the property and an interview to understand your goals, we provide a comprehensive report of suggested improvements with a cost / benefit analysis. We can also put you in touch with the most qualified, green-aware contractors and service providers in the area to help make the suggestions a reality.

National Association of Realtors Green Designation

In the 2008 National Association of Realtors buyers survey, 90% of buyers said environmentally friendly features were important. Forty-eight percent of homeowners said they would be willing to spend $2500 or more to make green improvements that would appeal to potential buyers, while 33% said they would spend $5000 or more on improvements. Realtors are on the front lines of this massive change that is taking place in the way homes are being built and sold. Through the NAR's Green Designation course, Realtors gain an in-depth education on green real estate principles and practices. The resulting Green Designation enabled them to access new markets, increase their customer base, get help with referrals and prospecting, and receive ongoing marketing support. In short, as a Green Designee, Realtors will gain the competitive edge and be able to position and market themselves as knowledgeable about green real estate - and have the answers to some of the most pivotal questions in today's real estate market.
Greentential is certified to teach the NAR Green Designation course and can bring it to the real estate agents in your office. While we are based on the Gulf coast of Florida, we can offer the NAR Green Designation course nationwide.
